I followed your pattern then double checked with the video at each stage. I ended up with a result very close to yours. I'm pleased and my daughter loves it. I think I can manage reading patterns now. :-)

I had one of these when I was a kid (about 6). I'm in my 40's now. I've asked around w/ some of my other friends that crochet and no one remembers these or has made them. I haven't seen another pattern for these since then. Thanks for sharing.
Mine was made with a clorox bottle bottom and then somehow the crochet was built on that. I like how yours is all crochet.
I'm going to have to make one of these for my granddaughter. I made one for my daughter when she was little and all of my nieces. They loved their cradle/purse.The cradle was the bottom of a Ivory dish soap bottle.Thank you for the pattern, brings back wonderful memories.
My mom made one of these for me when I was younger but I haven't seen one since. I'm learning to crochet now and wanted so desperately to find a pattern so I can make one for my little girl. I can't wait to get just a little more experienced so I can try this. :)
